Description

Kartik Puja, observed in the auspicious month of Kartik, is a revered Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and other deities. It is celebrated with devotion and faith to seek blessings for wealth, health, and spiritual growth.

For the puja, devotees prepare essential items including an idol or picture of the deity, a decorated chowki or puja platform, red cloth, Ganga water, a kalash with coconut and mango leaves, flowers like lotus and marigold, rice, milk, sugar, honey, fruits, sweets, incense sticks, lamps, sandalwood paste, kumkum, and alpona (rangoli) materials. During the rituals, lamps are lit, bhog (offerings) is presented, and prayers and mantras are chanted.
